Mom definitely apologized to me a few times when she was wrong, but mostly when I was older. I've certainly backtracked and explained that I was a little frustrated, but fortunately Derek and I tend to tag each other out before we get too upset that we are responding more to the emotions than to the situation.

Clean up is interesting because she's usually so good, but it's also the one thing that when she wants to push back, it's what she chooses. Probably because it's the end of the day and she's so tired. Still, she's one of those 'give an inch and she'll take a mile' kids. The smart ones always are. :)
