Two posts in one day? What is the world coming to!

Is anyone else reading 365 Tomorrows? http://www.365tomorrows.com/ It's 365 short sci-fi stories, one a day for a year. It started in August.

Anyway, read today's story. Then come back and tell me I'm not reading too much BtVS slash.

Well, maybe answer a few questions for me, because my take on it was TOTALLY different. Or maybe I read the wrong story (I followed the link though, so I dunno).

I got the impression she was at a "puppet parlour" a'la William Gibson's Neuromancer, and wanted two puppets, one of whom could be the Buffy character (or some sports star). Otherwise, why would it make her sore the next day, if she was just watching? I didn't recognize any other names that I'd associate with Buffy (although I am not half as versed as you, and completely ignorant of Angel).

So... is this designed as a BtVS fan-fic site, or just plain Sci-fi? Are all those names Buffy names? If the answer is plain and no, you're reading too much fan-fic. Sorry!

Yeah, I thought it might be the case that I was reading too much fic. *sigh*

I haven't read any Gibson (I know, I should be shunned). I read it as she was renting "puppets" (to use your phrase) for sexual pleasure, which is why the propietress worried about soreness, and then, when she said she wanted to watch to puppets to things to each other, the proprietress said something about needing a special chip for that.

Or I might just be a big pervert.

Well, you know, in for a penny, in for a pound, right?

Man, we have got to work on something
