I like my co-workers.

One of our female developers was looking for my boss when he was at lunch, so I told her I'd let him know when he got back. He walks in and I say, "P was looking for you."

Then I said, "I was going to say that P wanted you, but I didn't want to give you the wrong impression." (I know, bad, old joke, but it still gets a laugh)

So he laughs, and says, "I'm so glad they hired you. This place would be so dull and boring without you," ending with, "the excitement that you provide is unequaled."

I was figuring we'd do that anyway! Incidentally, what kind of music do you like? I'll start downloading onto my laptop asap!

Hmm... I like all different types. 80's rock. Top 40 stuff. Some country.

What do you like?

I tend to listen to mostly new country, but lately I've been all about the 80's. Not 80's country - it mostly sucked. Stuff like Blondie, Foreigner, Live, Journey, Stones. I also try to add a fair amount of Can-con to my listening - Sarah McLachlan, Great Big Sea, Bare Naked Ladies, Tragically Hip. I also love "oldies" - Beach Boys, Beatles, Harry Chapin, Simon and Garfunkle, Carol King.

I listen to Yahoo radio at work, and if I like a song I write it down so I remember it.

I think our musical tastes sound compatible.

An ex boyfriend bought me a few Hip CD's. Actually went and saw them in concert. They're pretty good.

So glad you live in a border state - you actually know what I'm talking about when I mention the Hip. I saw them at an outdoor concert a few years ago. It was a huge event - the closing acts were BNL and Brooks and Dunn.

What a trio! They're all different.

There were something like 20 acts that day. It was an amazing concert. It was the Watershed festival - in support of Walkerton, which had had a very serious e.coli breakout a couple of years earlier.

2000 people were sick, a bunch of kids were hospitalized, and 12 people died. It was pretty terrible - but ended up in a couple of great concerts.
