Post 5 weird and random facts about yourself, then at the end list the names of 5 people who are next in line to do this.
1) One of my parents' neighbour's ate my first dog.
2) I got screwed in our family's genetic lottery.
3) I love telling unflattering stories about people I love. (Like you didn't know that already!)
4) I've always wanted an older brother so I could date his friends.
5) My imaginary friend was Cody St. Marie.

They *ate* your dog?

That's what I said. HUH? Which one? Which dog and which neighbour and HOW? WHY?

Somehow, I figured that would get a response.

My very first dog was named Sparky. We had him from the time I was about 8 months old until I was 8 or so. When I was about 7, Sparky started to wander. Specifically, he'd go from our place to a farm on the next country block and back.

One day, he never came home.

The next morning on the bus, the neighbour kids teased me (until I cried) that their dad had accidently run over Sparky. Being an odd duck, their dad put Sparky in the freezer. Rumour has it that the kids brought Sparky sandwiches to school for lunch.

I don't know if that is actually true, or if they just got off on teasing poor little me. Dad says that their dad was weird enough to have butchered Sparky when the dog got hit, but probably the kids didn't actually bring it to school.

That's right up there with the buried kittens.

That sucks! Mean kids.
I was going to ask about the buried kittens, but now I've thought better of it.

Poor Sparky.
