Our head office is in Europe. Everyone in Europe has the Easter Monday off.

Not so much in North America, though the schools are out. I'm glad VV is still in daycare and I didn't have to find or take a day off to stay with her, since 4 days in a row was more than enough. Our Easter weekend started early with a heck of an ice storm on Thursday, so we both worked from home and didn't even take VV to the babysitter. I have some lovely photos from Saturday when we finally left the house.

We had to leave the house on Saturday as we had my nephew's birthday, followed by Garth Brooks! I've been a Garth fan since highschool, and I always regretted not seeing him when he was touring 20 years ago. So now that he's finally on the road again, I made sure to get seats. We weren't anywhere close, but at least we were in the same room.

Did Garth live up to your expectations?

Oh my god, it was easily the best concert I've ever been to. He played all the old stuff, I sang along to every single bit. Trisha Yearwood did 20 minutes in the middle to give him a break, and she was phenomenal.

I was on the verge of tears for most of it, knowing I'd never have this experience again.

We dealt with some ice, snow, and sleet on Thursday as well.

Glad you enjoyed the Garth concert as well.
