This is my actual office, and that's how I actually work - with the cat between me and the screen. It's not so bad when she's lying down and sleeping, but when she's stretching or demanding love, she's like a freaking eclipse.

This is where I usually go on the internets. It's much comfier and I can see the TV. You can see my laptop on the ottoman. When I sit here and open my laptop, Lyra instantly jumps into my lap and settles between me and the keyboard. It makes it hard to get things done.

These are different angles on the baby sweater I'm trying to finish. I just have an arm to sew on and a button band to knit.

This is the beginning of another baby sweater, since I had four friends have kids in January.

This is the stash of things I get to make for myself once I finish the baby stuff. The variagated is sock yarn, the pink is mohair for a shawl, and the blue is cotton for a lace tank top.

These are older pictures, but they are very cute and definitely show the personality of the cats. First up is the girls. Trance is the grey tabby. She's not a big fan of the rest of the gang, but if Lyra is sleepy and not trying to bite her butt, we can get them together. Lyra is the calico kitten. She's not quite a year yet, but she's definitely bigger than she was in that picture.

Next up is the boys, Trippy and AJ (short for Acid Jazz - we had a theme). Trance and Trippy are actually the 'siblings' (as close as you can get with barn cats), but we couldn't resist AJ when we saw how much like Trippy he looked. Then he grew up and got enormous and fluffy (these pictures are old and don't do justice to just how big and puffy he is), but he still loves his Trippy, though Lyra is totally his baby.
