Mom is actually doing really well. We talked yesterday, and she'd been in Spain on her birthday last year. She started feeling crappy about 3-4 weeks after they got home, and it took 2 months after that to figure out what was happening, since she thought it was vertigo and anemia. So it hasn't been quite a year of medical mayhem, and she's already into the phase of strength building and monitoring. I certainly know a lot of people who complain about medical wait times in Ontario, or misdiagnoses from insufficient testing, but that hasn't been my experience at all.
