Wingham Homecoming
Jul. 6th, 2004 11:49 amWell, I made it through the Homecoming weekend in Wingham, ON. It wasn't exactly like I expected.
I was really looking forward to it, and I assumed everyone else would be as well. Very few people my age turned up, and those who did had already made plans for their weekend.
The Leahy concert was amazing though. They have so much energy and vibrancy on stage. I really want to learn to fiddle now, though.
The best part of the weekend was stopping in Listowel at Vince and Sandra's and playing The Game of Life (usually we just watch TV, but the rain knocked the satellite out). We had such a blast, just playing, getting gently competitive, talking and laughing. I highly recommend board games (any games) for a good time.
