Okay, it's November 3rd. I've been jazzed about Nano ever since I signed up a few weeks ago. I've been chewing my nails waiting to start. I figured, I'm so excited, I'll get lots done at first; I was worried about halfway through the month when I lost interest, or stopped making time or whatever.

Not so. Instead, I was struck with writer's block. Instead of the expected double output (2000-4000 words) on the first day, instead of even the bare minimum (1667 words), I wrote a measely 313.

Okay, keep the chin up. I can catch up tomorrow. All of a sudden, there's work to do at work. Who knew? So my great plan of writing during the slow times at work - not going so well. Yesterday, I only ended up writing another 390ish words. What's worse, I actually had some direction and ideas yesterday, but ran out of time before I put myself to bed. Can I remember my inspiration today? Yeah, right!

Fortunately, it's only 9 am on the third day. Hopefully, I can get some written at work, then I'll print it out and work on it between work and TKD, type it up when I get home, chart my progress, and go to bed. Maybe I can catch up on Thursday - except that's The OC and CSI. I should email my sister in law and see if we are going to the Royal on Friday afternoon, which would blow that day away. Saturday night is Joey's party, at some point I should go home and help Mom with her computer, and then it's Monday again, with work and TKD.

Why did I have so much more time last month?

Also, why can I type a 100-200 word journal entry in only a few minutes, when the same number of words in Learning Curve takes freaking hours?

But, hey, that's good news - I have a title!
