Busy Weekend
Dec. 5th, 2005 10:00 amHere's hoping that this was the last truly "busy" weekend of the year. There was absolutely no downtime this weekend.
Friday night I got home at 7, got picked up at the bus by D, Jen and Ashley, had dinner, got pictures done, got wood, Karaoked, went to bed.
Saturday I was up at 6:20, out of the house by 7:30, picked up Ashley, headed to Toronto, started warming up, warming up, warming up, sat on the mats at the TKD club for hours, did my 20 minutes of work over the course of a 5 hour grading, and wound up with a black belt at the end of it. Then we went to dinner, and home by 8:30, bed by 11, cause I was just so wiped.
Sunday I was up at 9 (late!), baking and grocery shopping, car to Crappy Tire, off to R&T's with Sandra, baking, playing with the kids, chatting for 7 hours, hour drive home (2 for Sand, poor girl), started laundry, rested for 1 hour (Crossing Jordan was on) and finally bed at 11.
I am so exhausted - but proud. And today I get to show off my black belt at the colour belt grading for our club.
