May. 15th, 2006 10:21 amAnybody watch "How I Met Your Mother?" last night? It was a mediumish Whedon reunion.
Allison Hanigan is regular cast, of course. Alexis Denisoff has been on a couple of times at this point as the slimy, scuzzy and kind of stupid Sandy Rivers (TV Anchor) and Allison's character actually made a couple of meta comments a few episodes ago about how unattractive he is. But last night Alexis showed up again, and then Ted and Barney went looking for one of Barney's old girlfriends who was an Anthropology grad student (it was an odd little plot). Anyway, Penelope was played by Amy Acker! She looks really good, and she got to do the crazy-smart babble about what she's learned - just Anthropology, not Physics.
I love seeing Whedon cast in other places!
