Round Drabbles

He remembered killing his father. (Would the memories ever lose their effectiveness at tormenting his soul?)
It had been delicious, in all senses of the word. (The memories of pleasure remained, increasing his guilt.)
His father’s anger and disgust faded to fear. (The scent of fear was still so heady.)
The larger-than-life man shrank to nothing. (Feeling so powerful was addictive.)
Rich warm blood left a dying heart. (Blood will always taste like stealing love, dreams and hopes.)
As he sank into the dark ocean, watching Conner’s face glaring coldly down, his only thought was “what goes around, comes around.”
