Oddly enough, no where are maes and I more different than in our musical taste.
I
Total volume of music files on my computer:
Whatever D. said. Oh, here it is: 1,245 files, 5.02 GB.
II
The last CD I bought was:
The Guess Who Greatest Hits
The last albums I downloaded:
I don't download albums. However, I'm currently trying to download the 50 Essential Canadian Songs, as listed on CBC's 50 tracks. I just got "Northwest Passage" by ? and "Four Strong Winds" by Ian and Sylvia.
III
The last song I listened to before writing this was: something by Motion Trio - D's burned cd in the car is on random.
IV
No music - at work.
V
Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me:
1. "I swear" John Michael Montgomery. D & my song, though I'm really kind of over it - a little too early nineties.
2. "Whiskey Lullaby" Brad Paisley & Allison Kraus. Most depressing song ever. I love it.
3. "Down on the Farm" Tim McGraw. Describes some of the various stupid things I did in highschool. It was requested for me by my friends at every JF dance we ever went to.
4. "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" Big & Rich and "Redneck Woman" Gretchen Wilson. If I need to dance, I'll put on one of these.
5. "Crystal Chandelier", "Tennessee Waltz" or any other waltz. My grandparents still get up and every time they hear a waltz.
VI
Five albums I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me:
1. Pure Gold - Abba. I wouldn't be a girl if I didn't love Abba.
2. Mirrorball - Sarah McLaughlin. One of D's faves and he turned me on to it.
3. Something Highway? - Farmer's Daughter. I'm all about the Can-con.
4. Up - Great Big Sea. Love these guys. Again, Canadian.
5. Greatest Hits - Meatloaf. Do I listen to this because I like it, or because D. doesn't?
VII
Which 5 people are you passing this baton to, and why?
I think most people I know have done it. If you haven't and you're interested, consider yourself challenged.
