My great-aunt Edith passed away today. She was in her 90's - 95ish? She was a career woman in an era when there weren't very many women in careers. She was the last of my grandfather's siblings, the last keeper of the family knowledge (now passed down to me), and a generous and wonderful aunt that all her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews all adored.

I keep wondering what stories I missed out on hearing, now that they are all gone. But she was in a lot of pain and it's for the best. Thanks.
