Hi Internet! I missed you. Work has been killing me these past couple of weeks, so I'm trying to catch up on my flist. I'm all the way back at May 17th, where I discovered I got tagged with the Movie Meme by married_n_mich (that's a lot of Ms).
So as my first post in almost a month, here are my responses to the movie meme.
***
Last Film I Bought
The last DVD I bought was Buffy season 3. The last actual movie was... Grosse Point Blank, I think? After Xmas, we spent a buttload of $ on Previously Viewed DVDs.
Last Film I Watched
Oddly enough, like mich, the last movie I rented was National Treasure. The last movie I actually watched was Twister on TBS (Ted Turner loves Twister - I've seen it like, 8 times on TBS)
Five Films I Watch a Lot
Newsies is an old favourite - Christian Bale, singing and dancing. I love Saved! Funny and sacrelicious. Ummm, Anastasia. I love animated movies, but Anastasia is definately my favourite. D'oh! I almost forgot The Princess Bride - we own three copies of that. I got a Cliffs of Insanity poster for my birthday, I bought the soundtrack, and I can quote the entire movie, I've watch it so much. And Rocky Horror Picture Show, much to the dismay of D. and several of my friends. Rocky is funny and fun and Tim Curry works that bustier like no one else.

Date: 2005-05-26 05:30 pm (UTC)Last film I bought: Bend it Like Beckham (only $10). Quite enjoyable film; I'd never seen it before but it could stand up to multiple viewings. I really liked the main character a lot, even if I did want to shake her a couple of times.
Last Film I Watched: Panic Room. On T.V. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. I did lose interest right near the end and missed the 'big climax'. Oh well. I knew what was going to happen any way.
Five Films I Watch a Lot: I have seen these movies multiple times and could see them again: The Princess Bride; The Usual Suspects; The Matrix (the first one); A Knight's Tale; and the original Star Wars triology (yeah, I'm lumping them as one). I could also put Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? on this list, if I had room.
Also, I agree about Rocky Horror Picture Show. Its a GREAT movie! And if you don't agree with me, I will sing at you. And I promise I sound terrible! :)
