garnigal | The Obligatory Update

Last night I was told I don't update enough. So I'm updating.

We went out to dinner with some friends last night for curry buffet. It was great seeing jen_the_great again - we need to drag her ass to Guelph on a regular basis. After dinner we hit the CornerStone for dessert, only to discover a bunch of D's friends were meeting there. So we joined the group.

It was fun, and the more so because of the unexpectedness of the meeting. I particularly enjoyed everyone introducing themselves by LJ handle and icon.

Eventually I pled work and headed home with D and Jen. But there was Karaoke Revolution in the PS2, and I had to at least try it. I went to bed an hour later, when D and Jen pulled out DDR.

This morning I caught the 6:30 bus (30 minutes early!) and ended up meeting caliza unexpectedly. We decided that Guelph is weird. Most other places, you introduce your various groups of friends and hope they hit it off. In Guelph, you introduce your various groups of friends and they figure out where they met before/what groups they have in common. It's like six degrees of separation, but it Guelph it's only two.

So Jen, I updated. And like I said, nothing interesting happens to me.
