As for me...

I'm almost 40. As in I can count it in mere days (March 13). I had a shit tonne of stuff I wanted to do before I turned 40, but I'm hoping there's life after 40, because I'm a bit of a procrastinator.

I've got a toddler named Genevieve but who is mostly called VV that turns 3 on April 1st (that joke was on me). I've got a husband, we've been married for almost 5 years, but we've been together since high school. Makes it really easy to remember the horrors of being a teenager, because if I forget, he's bound to remind me.

We had 4 cats. Now we have 1 cat. And I'm advocating to have it stay at 1 cat until the kid can clean litter boxes.

I'm Canadian. So yes, we have the hot prime minister. I met him during the election rounds last year, and he cuddled VV. Be very jealous.

I write (occasionally), but I'm trying write more. I'm a joss-verse fan all the way, and I'll warn you right up front - I'm love Mal/River. But mostly I write in Buffy because I mostly write for open_on_sunday. I'm garnigal EVERYWHERE - Archive of Our Own, fanfiction.net and of course here.

This may seem pretty surface for an introduction but I'm really an open book - ask me anything!

I've had a few friends tell me they think Justin Trudeau is nothing special - I tell them to get their eyes checked. And he's generally kind as well, and appears to be a good father. What more can you want?

Well, hopefully he turns out to be a good leader as well, I suppose.

I know, right?!? Also, he's freakishly tall. Derek and I are both short, so the poor man was quite hunched over to get a photo with us.

LOL Money helps. :) Once our kids were finally all educated and on their own, I was amazed at how much money we had left at the end of the month. But that was a long time coming....

We thought she'd be Gen, but somehow ended up with Vieve, which got shortened to VV. My brother calls her Junebug (her Chinese name is Jun), my parents call her Gen or Genny, my husband's family mostly call her VV or Gen.

Genevieve Cheryl Jun Wong was apparently too much name for such a teeny little girl. :)

We have four cats too. We used to have five- our aim is two... We also have two dogs, but luckily for me it's my husband who do all the vaccuming. :)

Sometimes (mostly when it's cold), I miss our three that we lost in the last 2 years, but I'm pretty happy with just Lyra. Especially with the toddler taking more and more time

Start now! I managed to get some of the big stuff done - cruise Alaska with my husband, take the train from Ontario to BC, but there's some just sit down and do it that just slipped away.
