Warning to all those new friends

I've been feeling like writing, so I went through the open_on_sunday masterlist to get some ideas. And then I thought I'd go through and check which ones I already did, which led to a scan through all my LJ posts since 2007.

Man, I used to be on here all the time. I used to post 2-3 drabbles a week to open on sunday, plus I was doing taming the muse, Jossverse last author standing, and random memes all over the place. This is also where I documented all the details of my life.

Sorry that I'm so boring now. :(

Maybe I'll try and write something, just to make it worth friending me :)

You're not just the sum of your writing output! Write if you feel like it (and I'd be here to read it), but there's no need to feel pressed to do so to "earn" our friendship. Even GRRM doesn't manage a consistent and everflowing rate of output! :)

Write if you're feeling it. Forcing something might remove the fun factor (which is important in fandom).

I swear, there's something in the air. Literally thousands of people have come back to LJ in the last few months, looking for the same things, me included. I love it.

Also, it's nice to meet someone else who feels a pressure to entertain their flist. Someone needs to write a book about LJ being therapy for the neurotic and creative.
