Employed!

After a 2 month wait for hr to get the paperwork complete, I signed my offer of employment today.

I start Monday!

Thank you for all the support during this 7 months of lovely, lovely unemployment.

Congratulations! I haven't been keeping up with LJ for a while so I've missed the details, but I hope it's a good one!

I'm working at our local university. Only about 10 minute drive, maybe 5 to 10 minute walk depending on which parking lot I'm in. Less money overall, but pension once I hit 2 years, so while I'll still put money away for retirement, it can be slightly less, and I can save for more immediate things, like home renos, furniture, car, travel...
