but I feel like it now so you have to read my rambling.

I went to the btvs/angel Toronto meetup tonight. They meet once a month, hang out and eat and talk about fandom and life. At least, that's what I could gather from my first time joining them. It was really fun - I'm still excited almost three hours later. Everyone was nice (not that I was expecting any different), and I got to actually chat with a couple of folks I met in passing at WriterCon. I know mommanerd and spiralleds will be jealous that I got to spend the evening chatting about fic with sunnyd_lite. :) reedeem147 was at the other end of the table, but I got to talk to her a bit on the subway back downtown. I was so busy chatting with folks that I didn't get emails or LJ addresses - I guess I have to go back next month. :)

On the Nano front, I am my usual 15000 words behind. I'm still feeling surprisingly upbeat (it must be the cheap-ass drugs), and I'm planning to get caught up this weekend. Poor D has to work (fortunately he gets to VPN in; unfortunately, he has to stay up every night), so I'm going to hang out with him and work on my novel while he works on ... work. I want 20004 words by Sunday at midnight - that'll put me back on track and make me feel all accomplished for the weekend.

Thanks! I'm just hoping to stay concious long enough to get my word count. In my world, weekends are for sleep!

It was great fun chatting with you last night! And I did get my story edited and re-edited and posted! I'd send my muses your way, but they're very cankerous, and I doubt they'd be of any use! *sends coffee and chocolate*

Coffee and chocolate is even better than muses - muses are not nearly reliable enough.

I want to be a Torontoan and go to the meet ups! ::pouts::

I haven't had a chance to read your Project Paranormal story, but it is on my list. Good luck with Nano. I think it is so cool that you're pursuing that!

I'll be really interested in your opinion of the Project Paranormal story. So far, I haven't read comments from anyone outside the PP writers group.

And you should come up for a visit. We've always got a spare bed for a friend!

I am very jealous. They need to have a meet up in the middle of nowhere, where some of us live. I'm glad you had a good time, though. :)

If it makes you feel better, I was jealous too. Everyone was talking about the Common Rotation concert the majority of the folks went to last Tuesday.

Lovely icon, btw.
