Funny Story (Not about me, surprise!)

garnigalMy grandmother has a very sore thumb. It is swollen and the middle joint slides sideways, which just isn't right. My mother and my aunt took Gran to the doctor (orthopedic surgeon, I think) last week. The resident who was doing the initial exam asked for any history that might have contributed to this.
Gran: Well, about 20 years ago, I suffered a very serious cat bite.
Resident: You got in a cat fight? With another woman!?!
Cue hysterical laughter and 75 year old woman looking very confused.
