Hey all!
I don't know who all might entail, since at this precise moment, I have no friends, but I just wanted to welcome whoever might come across this, my first post on LiveJournal.
I'm a 28 year old female. I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada with my boyfriend and two cats.
My interests include genealogy, cross-stitch, reading, TV, movies, Tae Kwon Do, music, and fanfiction. My favourite blog is dooce.com. I worked as a technical writer up until a month ago, when I got laid off. I've been looking for a job ever since.
I'm currently looking forward to going back to my hometown this weekend. It's the Wingham Homecoming Weekend. We do this every 10 years, and it includes a parade, high school reunion, dances, concerts, and a lot of drinking and chatting. My parents still live near Wingham (on the same farm they bought when they got married, that my brother and I grew up on), so I'm not so out of touch with local doings as some, but I'm really excited to see some of the old friends I haven't seen in 9 years. Hopefully the event lives up to my expectations.
