garnigalI'm not good with metaphor. Isn't that supposed to be what real writers do; play with words, painting metaphorical pictures? I enjoy metaphor and appreciate a finely turned phrase, but am not so great at creating my own.
Take for instance, this line from my Nano: "...flies pierced by the sharp point of his contempt and sarcasm."
