Baby number 2 has arrived

My friends V & S just had their second baby, so now I'm down to waiting on two more of my friends to give birth.

For those of you who know V&S, big brother Owen got a baby sister named Carys at 9:45am. Carys is 6lbs 9.4oz with black hair, but not as much hair as Owen had. S sounds good, at least, she managed to call me herself instead of making V do it. She also says she has good drugs and she's very happy about that. :)

I did not know they were expecting again, or expecting at the same time as us again :) Very cool!!! Tell her I am glad everything went well! :)

Things are good. Lillian is doing well and Gwen is starting to really settle a bit.

She had a C-section, so there was no question about not getting the good drugs. On the other hand, she had abdominal surgery, so you can be happy you didn't have that. :)

I'm not complaining about the lack of abdominal surgery. It just seems completely not FAIR that my FIL can have a cyst removed from his arse and get a bottle of oxycotin, but I bear 27+ lbs of child and get jack shit, you know?

They really are. Hopefully Carys (and how soon will she be getting called Carrie, I wonder...) will be a more pass-the-baby baby than Owen was - he was totally Mommy's boy.

I'll pass that along. S. seemed pretty happy when she called, but that could have been the drugs talking. Not sure if you saw my earlier post, but D's nephew arrived as well - Sat, 3:45 am. So I get to go to another bris, all by myself (because I have no ethics, according to D)
