One more step on the road to WriterCon

garnigalI booked my flights. I decided that once I got my (small, but enough) tax refund, I'd book my flight and pay off my credit card with the refund. It was a tiny bit more than when I'd originally looked, and it wasn't non-stop, but it's done.
I did have a little drama about it all. I decided to fly out of Buffalo since it's so much cheaper, and we looked around and found a shuttle from Burlington to the Buffalo airport, so I don't even have to drive or park. So after I booked my flight, I went to book the shuttle. There are 4 scheduled trips per day between the two locations, and the last trip home was 3 hours before my flight landed.
D'oh.
So I panicked briefly, then decided I could drive if I had to but first I'd try and shift flights. Turns out that within the first 24 hours you can cancel for only $7 - totally worth it. It means I'm leaving Minneapolis much earlier on Monday, but to save myself the drive, I'm more than willing to get up at ungodly o'clock.
I can't wait to see all y'all!
