K-W Nano - Detail
Nov. 8th, 2004 10:25 amI mentioned the KW Nano get together in passing in my previous entry, but I wanted to get into more detail. I had a great time and so did D. He mentioned on our way out that he looked at the time around 2:10 and thought "time could really pass quickly having a conversation like this", looked down again and it was 2:15.
I'm looking forward to working in the challenge you set for me; D. actually gave me some good ideas how to fit it in. (I should give him co-writer credit!) It was also good hearing that rockinkitty is in the same low word count boat that I am! Yay! Everybody's novels sound really interesting and readable, I'm so impressed by everyone. It feels like just hanging out with you people brought my own talent up a couple of notches.
Getting together really inspired me - I feel like I want to write again. I was a little down because of my low count, but I'm going to try and do something about that today.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again; I'm keeping my eyes on the forums for info on the write-in. I'm going to keep trying to go to both KW and Guelph - everyone I've met is just so awesome, I don't want to miss a thing.
Screw the novel, let's just party for the month!

Before it was all about proximity (it's still that way at work), but now that I'm out of school I'm trying to find people with the same interests. Nano has been great for that.
