K-W Nano - Detail

garnigalI mentioned the KW Nano get together in passing in my previous entry, but I wanted to get into more detail. I had a great time and so did D. He mentioned on our way out that he looked at the time around 2:10 and thought "time could really pass quickly having a conversation like this", looked down again and it was 2:15.
I'm looking forward to working in the challenge you set for me; D. actually gave me some good ideas how to fit it in. (I should give him co-writer credit!) It was also good hearing that rockinkitty is in the same low word count boat that I am! Yay! Everybody's novels sound really interesting and readable, I'm so impressed by everyone. It feels like just hanging out with you people brought my own talent up a couple of notches.
Getting together really inspired me - I feel like I want to write again. I was a little down because of my low count, but I'm going to try and do something about that today.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again; I'm keeping my eyes on the forums for info on the write-in. I'm going to keep trying to go to both KW and Guelph - everyone I've met is just so awesome, I don't want to miss a thing.

Date: 2004-11-10 07:15 pm (UTC)I have the next 2.5 days off, starting at 11pm...so I'm going to get some serious writing in. I am exicted!!!
Don't worry about your word count being low. Some days inspiration will hit and you will spill out 5G without thinking about it. I won't be able to meet you all on Sunday, but I'll be thinking of you all.
