Joining the Ranks

As of about 10 am, I have joined the ranks of the unemployed. I'm assured it's a temporary lay-off, but I'll believe that when I see it. So far, D's found me 6 or 7 jobs to apply to and I've started on the resume updating/restructuring.

Thanks. I'm a tech writer in the software industry. The company I worked for specialized in graphics software for avionics, so the market downturn hit pretty hard, and we were struggling even before that.
